The recipe for this exotic product originated from a farmer in Zimbabwe, who Grant Paech (Beerenberg’s founder) met on a trip to South Africa.

Grant returned from his trip with a selection of spices and a big idea. Now, this secret-recipe spiced fruit sauce has its own fan club.

It’s easy to see why though – use it to marinade prawns or chicken, slow cook lamb, use as a pizza base, or add to casserole or pasta. It’s versatile and delicious.

Ingredients

Sugar, Fruit and Vegetables (Tomato, Onion, Apricot, Carrot), Vinegar, Canola Oil, Herbs and Spices, Starch, Sea Salt, Xanthan Gum, Yeast Extract, Garlic.
