Hotel Sheets & Commercial Bed Sheets

BNB Supplies stocks hotel sheets and commercial bed linen designed for hotels, motels, serviced apartments, Airbnbs, aged care and other high use accommodation. Our range includes commercial fitted sheets, flat sheets and top sheets in 100% cotton and easy care polycotton, with percale and satin stripe options to suit different laundering, presentation and budget requirements.

Commercial hotel sheets need to do more than simply feel good on the bed. They need to withstand frequent laundering while remaining practical to wash, dry, press and remake. Polycotton sheets are a popular choice for high turnover accommodation because they dry faster, crease less and are easy to care for, while 100% cotton provides the crisp, premium feel preferred by many hotels and resorts.

Our hotel quality sheet range includes Single, Long Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King, together with specialty sizes for split beds and other accommodation requirements. Read More

Why Hotels Choose Percale Sheets

Percale is one of the most widely used weaves for hotel and commercial bed linen. Its closely woven, one over / one under, construction creates the smooth, crisp finish commonly associated with hotel sheets and performs well in accommodation environments where linen is washed frequently.

Both cotton and polycotton can be woven as percale, so choosing the right sheet depends on how the property launders and presents its linen.

100% cotton percale

100% cotton percale provides the traditional crisp, breathable feel many guests associate with quality hotel bedding. Cotton can require more drying and ironing than polycotton, particularly when new, but is often preferred by hotels and properties wanting a natural fibre and premium finish.

Polycotton percale

Polycotton percale combines cotton with polyester to produce a durable, easy care commercial sheet. It generally dries faster and creases less than 100% cotton, making it particularly practical for properties processing large quantities of linen or looking to reduce laundry time.

Are polycotton percale sheets hot to sleep in? This is a question we are often asked. While 100% cotton is naturally more breathable, the crisp, lightweight construction of a percale weave allows good airflow and prevents polycotton percale from feeling like a heavy synthetic fabric. For most accommodation environments, a good  quality polycotton percale provides a comfortable balance between guest comfort and practical laundering.

Thread count alone is not an indication that one hotel sheet will perform better than another. For commercial use, fabric construction, fibre composition, weight, laundering requirements and durability are often more important than choosing the highest thread count.

Sateen and Satin Stripe

Most of our commercial hotel sheet ranges use a percale weave, which produces the crisp, smooth finish traditionally associated with hotel bed linen. Sateen is a different weave that creates a smoother, silkier feel and is available in selected premium 100% cotton sheet ranges.

Sateen should not be confused with satin stripe, which refers to the visible stripe pattern woven into the fabric rather than the smooth sateen finish. Satin stripe jacquard features alternating matt and lustrous stripes woven directly into the fabric, creating the classic tonal stripe appearance traditionally associated with hotel bed linen.

Commercial Hotel Sheets vs Retail Sheets

Commercial bed linen is designed with different priorities from most domestic or retail bedding. Hotels and accommodation providers need sheets that can withstand frequent washing, be practical for housekeeping staff to handle and provide consistent presentation across multiple rooms.

When choosing commercial sheets, consider:

  • Laundry requirements: Polycotton generally dries faster and requires less ironing, while cotton can provide a crisper, more traditional hotel finish.

  • Durability: Commercial linen needs to withstand considerably more frequent washing than sheets used in a typical home.

  • Shrinkage: Cotton naturally shrinks with repeated laundering, so commercial sizing and laundering instructions should be considered when selecting sheets.

  • Fitted or flat sheets: Fitted sheets are convenient for many properties, while some hotels and commercial laundries prefer flat sheets because they are easier to process, fold and rotate between different beds.

  • Thread count: Higher thread count does not automatically mean a sheet is more suitable for commercial use. Fibre, weave, fabric weight and construction all influence how a sheet performs over time.

  • Ease of replacement: Using established commercial ranges makes it easier to replace individual sheets as required rather than replacing complete sheet sets.

BNB Supplies stocks a range of cotton and polycotton commercial sheets so accommodation providers can choose according to their preferred feel, laundry process, budget and level of use.
